Cost of duties, taxes, and import fees to buy sunglasses from ebay?

Hello,

I am wondering how much duties, taxes, and other import fees would be if I were to buy some sunglasses from ebay and send them to Japan. The sunglasses are selling for USD 65 ( JPY 9,457).

I have checked [https://www.customs.go.jp/english/c-answer\_e/imtsukan/1204\_e.htm](https://www.customs.go.jp/english/c-answer_e/imtsukan/1204_e.htm) but I can not find any category for sunglasses, glasses, or eye wear.

I also read somewhere that if the product is below JPY 10,000, then there are no taxes.

  1. Likely will be zero, as per the “under 10,000” rule. Also if seller is sending with the ebay’s global shipping program, they already pre-charge any taxes at checkout, so when you see the final amount thats what you will pay.
