I don’t know what type of fish it was (someone mentioned a grouper of some kind?), but I filmed it at Jeju Island in South Korea :) We had Hamachi sashimi at this restaurant, and it was truly delicious!

  1. This is a grouper, I think a longtooth grouper known as *ja-bari* in Korean or *kue* in Japanese.

  2. Yes grouper, light flesh and slightly sweet taste. More on the leaner side, but can have a lot of connective tissue
    Overall good fish.
