Blue Symphony: Yoshino vs Asuka vs Nara Temples

Hello, I will be taking the Blue Symphony from Osaka to Yoshino at the beginning of October. This will be part of a one month itinerary so all obvious Kansai day trips are already planned.

The trouble is that from my research Yoshino seems to be most popular during cherry blossom and autumn leaves seasons, both of which I will be missing.

The train also makes a stop at both Kashiharajingu-Mae and Asuka, which leaves me with 3 options:

1. Go all the way to Yoshino and visit the area for the day
2. Stop at Asuka and visit the area, then visit Kashihara-jingū
3. Stop at Kashiharajingu-Mae and visit Kashihara-jingū, then take the Kintetsu-Kashihara line and visit some of the famous temples of Nara (Yakushi-ji, Tōshōdai-ji, Saidai-ji, Heijō Palace…)

Would appreciate any input! Thanks
