Does anyone have any recommendations for adult swimming classes in Suginami Tokyo. The personal ones seem quite expensive so wondering what other options I might have.
I do have some earlier swimming experience but haven’t swam in very long so I’m quite unsure about just going to a pool by myself.

Go to one of the several public swimming pools in Suginami (or to the Chitose pool in Setagaya, about 500 meters south of Suginami, along the Number 8 circle highway on the east side. You should see posters for swimming circles/groups for beginners. They meet at various times, including in the evenings, and sometimes welcome new members. They’ll be affordable. (Public swimming pools are often near trash processing facilities, as the water is heated by burning trash in many cases.)
(A little farther south on the Number 8 highway is a private swimming club that may offer the same services, but I have not gone there.)
Google Total Immersion.
[https://en.central.co.jp/club/shimokitazawa/price/school.html](https://en.central.co.jp/club/shimokitazawa/price/school.html) has adult lessons, it’s only 2 train stops outside Suginami.
Just try the local centers. you’d be amazed at what they have to offer that isn’t listed online or anywhere else for that matter. Even in my seaside inaka location they have adult swimming training available.
