I don’t want to create cards manually. I just would like to have the possibility of creating a new Anki card from a dictionary entry with meaning, reading, example sentence, etc.
AnimeCards uses {test} for gloassary, I usually prefer {selection-text}, something to consider
I basically just use jpdb.io at this point. They have all common textbook vocabulary lists and I add interesting words from their novel, anime and game databases.
Saved me so much of the trouble I had with anki, but I believe it works better once you’re past the beginner stage, I guess
The Akebi dictionary app can send words to Anki with all those things. I use that when I’m on mobile, and Yomichan on my laptop, and I have them both set up to send to the same mining deck.
**The Yomichan Browser does exactly what you are looking for**
I personally use Google sheets to edit the vocab list I get from Tokobako from my phone and then import vocab list into Anki
