What is the job prospect of Japan in 2024?

Hello guys.

Currently I’m taking CS majors (university in Manila) and expected to graduate next year. I already have JLPT N1 cert and residency card.

So I’m aware that I will be competing with Indians in Japan, their presence is getting bigger that I started to notice. I actually don’t mind about that as I learned many things from them. However, recent events in China such as reported mass exodus made me think twice. Some of them ended up in Japan. Imagine 1.4b population and hundreds of millions of middle class who can afford schooling in Japan. I’m just afraid they would compete with me for the same job position in a near future.

How will influx of Chinese immigrants affect the Japanese job markets? If they previously worked in 996 work environment and getting used to underpay, wouldn’t they be more advantageous? Should job-seekers be worried?
