Should i send the resume and cv in Japanese or English?

1. You’ll never need a Japanese resume if you’re applying for an English job.

2. Save your Japanese for when they ask in the interview. A mention of your Japanese level in the resume is all you need.

3. Whatever language the job ad was in.

4. Speaking Japanese is considered a giant red flag by many English schools. So be careful.

   When I briefly worked at one of the big national ones, I was told emphatically to pretend I don’t speak any Japanese (I had an N2 at the time, got my N1 a year later). It was also taboo and I had to pretend while working I didn’t understand what anyone was saying.

5. “Only requires an associate degree” I am assuming you live in japan? If not, Japan requires a bachelors in order to get a work visa. So you need to be legally in country to get that job.

6. You’re gonna be an *English* teacher, so apply in English
