Printing A0 size (sewing pattern)

Hello, I want to print a sewing pattern in A0 and can’t do it at the convenience store. I’ve tried looking it up online but I don’t get anything helpful. I was curious if anyone has any tips on how to search for it or locations that would print A0?

  1. Kinkos and Accea both print A0. You should be able to find a location nearby and just walk in and ask.

  2. You can also split the file into four A4 prints and tape them together

    Edit: I was wrong- it’s sixteen a4 sheets. That’s a huge difference

  3. My go to is プリオ! Go check their website, they print all kinds of big size stuff and they’re pretty cheap as well.I use their service all the time at work.

  4. If you’re searching via Google in English, sometimes the results are less than ideal. As someone mentioned, try searching for “A0 print” using katakana, and you should get better results. A0 is also called “poster-size”, “poster” or “poster print” so try a few ways. It could be helpful ot also add the name of your city, town, etc. to the search criteria (example: A0プリント” 久留米).

If Japanese’s a stumbling area, definitely see if a Kinko’s is nearby. They definitely do A0, and they are usually English-language-friendly.

For me, the nearest Accea or Kinko’s is 30 miles away, so I often print patterns at the local copy shop (which does not have a website). I usually call ahead and then email the file to them. Once again, try searching with your location. 🙂

As an aside, if the pattern is a simple one (one or 2 a0 sheets), I usually just print A4 at home and then trace it off I buy Clover pattern trace at Sankakuya (which I have no idea if it’s a national chain), but I’m sure you can find that at a fabric/craft store nearby. For complicated patterns, A0 is the way to go. Also, ask at the fabric store, Sometimes they have a recommendation.
