efficient use of time in tokyo?

hi there, we are trying to efficiently plan our schedule. Essentially, I don’t want to travel from one area to another if it is inconvenient/inefficient use of time. please let me know which areas are doable together and what days are too crowded, if anything should be moved around, as well as any suggestions! we love nature and sightseeing! thank you again advance.

day 1

day 2

day 3
– [ ] kamakura
– [ ] enoshima island

day 4
– [ ] asakusa ➡️senso-ji temple
– [ ] ueno ➡️ zoo ➡️ thrift
– [ ] akihabara
– [ ] pokemon center
– [ ] imperial palace

day 5
– [ ] shinjuku➡️gyoen park
– [ ] harajuku➡️takeshita street
– [ ] nakano broadway (anime items)
– [ ] ikebukuro (tech/anime?)

day 6
– [ ] shimokitazawa➡️ thrifting ➡️garage department
– [ ] shibuya➡️shibuya scramble➡️ shibuya sky

leave for kyoto

  1. Day 4 seems busy. Do you plan to do the imperial palace tour or just visit the gardens? Because the tour only runs twice a day.

  2. If you have an iphone, you can get a suica card added to your wallet before you even arrive.

    For day 4, I actually would recommend going to Asakusa in the afternoon/late afternoon. There will be food stands..etc. that make the atmosphere more interesting, then finish the night in akihabara. Go to the imperial palace first.

  3. Those are some extremely busy days. I hope you either planned to rush through everything or have some priorities on what is more important to you and what you might let go.

  4. You can’t get the normal suica anymore you need to get the welcome suica or pasmo passport

  5. Day 1: you can’t get physical IC cards right now except the welcome suica at the airports. use phone if possible. 7-11 atm is probably better than family mart for money exchange and is located in arrivals of airport
