Hi all, this is my first time travelling to Japan with my partner. Feeling quite excited yet nervous as it is my first time planning an itinerary for my own trip. The trip will be this month. The main interests are mostly food, shopping and sightseeing. The itinerary is supposed to be more chill. Please provide any suggestions on my itinerary as I think more can be added in. Thank you!
Day 1 16/9:
\- Arrive in Narita Airport at 9am
\- Will take Narita Express to Shibuya hotel area
\- Put luggage in coin lockers
\- Have lunch and stroll around the area
\- Check in to hotel
\- Rest and explore

Recommend you do more stuff day 5. You’ll blow through that in a few hrs in Akasaka area.
I’d go straight to your hotel. A) the room may be ready early b) If it is a regular hotel, they will more than likely store your luggage for you until you can check in if your room isn’t ready yet
May I ask what is the budget you have allocated for this, leaving travel tickets & accommodation out of it?
I am reviewing a few places for a December trip, Tokyo being one of them, but I’d also want to be wary of the budget and what to expect
There is the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building that is free to get up to and gets you 45 stories or a out 200 meters high (in like 55 seconds). Well worth the visit!!
