what the title says. I’ve got limited free time and I want to make the most of it. I want to go straight to being able to understand anime. I don’t think manga is good because it’s black and white, and there’s no good music to go with the action sequences. Plus, I like to eat food while watching anime, and it is harder to do that with manga. Also, manga is more boring because it doesn’t feel as exciting and you have to read a lot.

Matcha Einspänner Iced Latte- a strong, iced matcha latte topped with a thick layer of whipped cream. This is a tri-fusion drink: the einspanner is an Austrian (Viennese) drink, the matcha is Japanese, and the drink idea comes from Korea. Recipe in comments!

Sounds like it would be harder.
To keep it short, no it is not that simple
Learning Japanese requires hard work. I have been
Studying at least once a day for 30 minutes to an hour sometimes even more than that, I watch anime as well and I can understand what they are saying sometimes but I’m at the point where I can watch without subtitles yet.
Bro I thought that you are trolling with this question, srsly.
You have got to be kidding. We just had a thread on why this is a dumb query [just a few hours ago](https://www.reddit.com/r/LearnJapanese/comments/whiz0b/for_everyone_who_comes_here_to_ask_can_i_learn/).
The answer is no. The answer is always no. It has always been no, it will always be no. [The answer is no](https://youtu.be/Cl2pvI1nQVU?t=19).
Seriously though, is it possible? In the strictest meaning, yes. Is it in any way a good idea? No. Skipping over reading will seriously hurt you when it comes to Japanese. Yes, including just trying to listen to stuff. You are not the exception.

You lost me here a little bit. It’s literally pictures with very very short captions. A book is something that requires reading a lot.
If it’s a serious question – no, that’s very inefficient. You would be relying only on the vocal component and you would need to watch tons of content where it’s absolutely clear what the characters mean f.e. “it’s a tree” while pointing at a tree.
Japanese is one of those languages where there are close to no shortcuts.
