McDonald’s cheeseburger at 200yen

I know inflation has been hitting everyone equally hard, but I went drinking with my buchou and kachou today and felt pekish for some cheeseburgers afterwards. Counter lady asked me for 600yen for what I would nory pay 420yen for and I nearly cried. Q_Q please fix yourself inflation-San.

  1. I went to Kua’aina today. So-so cheeseburger with fries was over 1,000 yen. A massive waste of money. And yet, necessary.

  2. I got 2 sandwiches, fries, and a 4 piece nugget in Nice, France last week and it was 3000 yen, surprising…

  3. It’s Â¥200 in Japan now for a McDonald’s cheeseburger. At today’s exchange rate, a cheeseburger in the US at McDonald’s costs the equivalent of Â¥407. Be happy you live here

  4. Idk. I actually feel Mac is keeping the inflation to a minimum compared to other (read everything that’s packaged in the supermarket ) things. At least nothing has shrunk yet, right?
