[Itinerary check] 11 Sep – 10 Oct, Tokyo<>Tokyo

Hi all, I’m flying in a few days and had to plan my stay in a rush.

I’ve *almost* completed my itinerary, and wanted to get some help.

First of all, I wanted to know if any of the days I’ve planned are too much for one day. (which?)

I’m also looking for help regarding my plans for early October. I really wanted to do the Nakasendo Trail, but it feels a bit stupid coming back all the way from Kanazawa. I wanted to understand if its feasible and what are the chances I’ll have good weather. (I thought about doing it inbetween Hakone and Kyoto, which might be a bit more logical, and I might, but I’ve already booked hostels up until Nara so I’ll have to change some plans)

I’ll also appreciate tips on Nikko day trips, and any feedback in general!

  1. In general….and I can’t go through day by day feedback, but I think you’re going to get into a rhythm of your travel and settle into a pace that makes sense. Nothing you wrote stands out as odd, but my advice is don’t feel like you HAVE to do everything you wrote down. You might discover things along the way that you want to prioritize instead.
    Enjoy your trip!
