Hi, I’m french with vietnamese parents and I don’t speak Japanese at all,
I went in Japan in January but I never really interacted with other people here than my friends I traveled with but then I wondered how japaneses sees non-japanese asian people or is it hard to live in Japan being a non-japanese asian ?

It’s hard to live in Japan if you don’t speak any Japanese, regardless of what your ethnicity is.
I am Asian descent, but grew up in America. Honestly, the Japanese are too polite to tell it to your face, but unless you speak Japanese well and/ or come off as Japanese in terms of culture and behaviour, a foreigner is a foreigner––regardless of ethnicity.
