Hey all, going to Japan in a few days with a few mates and so looking for any tips or any changes you think we can implement to be more efficient in our planning.
I noted some of the key things we plan to see at each area but also with just general exploration too!

Tokyo:
Day 1: Land in Narita at 1pm, sort out IC cards and go to hotel.
– Head out to Ginza in the evening to do some quick shopping/explore at Uniqlo and stuff and just relax on the first day.
Day 2: Ikebukuro/Marounouchi
– Check out Sunshine City Mall/ Sunshine 60 Street
– Otome Road and Animate/Pokemon Center Mega Tokyo
– Head to Marounoichi and explore (not sure what else to do this day, open to suggestions!)
Day 3: Odaiba/ Akhibara/Roppongi
– Team labs/Diver City and explore Odaiba
– Head to Akhibara and explore
– Head to Roppongi to explore in the evening, and wait for night for Rainbow bridge
Day 4: Shibya/Shijuku
– Harajuku (Takeshita Street)
– Shibuya 109/ Shibuya Scramble/ Shibuya Parco
-Tokyo Kabukicho Tower
– Tokyo Govt Building
Day 5: Yokohama
-Yokohama Aircabin/ Cupnoodle Museum/Yamashita Park
Day 6: Ueno/Asakusa/Tsukiji Outer Market
– Senso-ji
– Visit Tsukiji Outer Market
– If time permits also visit Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden
– Reservation for Ce La Vi at 7:30pm
Day 7: Shinigawa
– We are staying at the Shinigawa prince hotel for this day so will head there in the morning
(aside from this we have nothing else planned so please let us know if there’s anything we can do to fill this time!)
Day 8: Flight to Okinawa
I did want to ask if I could make another post regarding the remainder of the trip (Okinawa/Osaka) or if I should add it in here, as I didn’t want make this post too long, but please let me know!

For day 6, consider doing tsukiji first thing. I arrived at 9-10am when I visited and it was already so packed I could barely move.
Shop at the end, saves a lot of extra weight 😉 Have fun!
If you’re hopping from hotel to hotel you should consider Kura Neko. Such a helpful service so that you don’t have to worry about getting on the train with all your bags
