Life science job in Japan for foreigners

Hello guys! Are there a lot of life science job in Japan (microbiology or something related)? I started to study Japanese and would like to ve fluent. Is Japan open to have foreign workers in life science? What are the requirements to work and is it easy to get in as long as you’re fluent? Thank you for your responses! I am more into research or laboratory

  2. Do you mean corporate or academic jobs? I am working at a pharma company. Because of the drug price and supply issue here at japan, the pharma business is not doing well, so there are less hiring for r&d around these years.

Fluent japanese is still needed… all documents are all in japanese… and i wonder how are you going to communicate with your local colleagues at work and meetings.
