Looking to get some cheap and simple clothes, a shop similar to primark. Ideally t-shirts and shorts since it’s still so hot. I keep only finding long sleeved. As close to yokohama as possible. Any suggestions?
This is a tough time of year to buy tshirts as stores have their fall selections out even though it’s still hot. Maybe try Uniqlo sale bin?

Shimamura. But nowadays stock in the physical shops is for the fall seasons. Online, Uniqlo and GU may have more options and be on sale.
Shimamura and GU are the similar cheap equivelants, Uniqlo is a step above (it’s a sister company to GU and uses some more expensive materials) but still also cheap, I’d say Uniqlo is closer to Matalan.
There’s also H&M and Zara, maybe a bit more fashionable but have some really cheap items on offer (as well as some more pricey stuff), you’ll definitely be able to get a raft of t-shirts and shorts for cheap from H&M.
Uniqlo have these cotton ones for 790, and there are dry-tech versions for 990. In the men’s section they are usually hanging up folded into approx 12x12cm packaging. Website says they are unisex so they may be in the woman’s section too but if not look in the men’s. They are perfect for summer because they are thin and light.
Yes I miss Primark sooooo much 😠I bought so much stuff when I visited last month.
The only similar shop I can think of is Shimamura but it doesn’t even come CLOSE. It’s pretty unfashionable whereas Primark follows trends well and has new stuff all the time.
I would say H&M or GU would be the best bet, they’re boring compared to Primark but relatively cheap. H&M would probably still have some summery stuff on their sale rack 🙂
