  1. Knight is already pretty over; he doesn’t need a character change like most of these guys did, plus BC already has three juniors (once Ishimori is back). Someone would get lost in the shuffle.

  2. Nah. We need the inevitable feud between Knight and the War Dogs as they try to get him to join and he refuses. Can lead to a junior tag title match or 3. Or if they really want to build Kevin, have him lrun through all the War Dogs one by one to challenge Finlay. Have Finlay beat Knight and then rip the Dogs for wanting a weak piece of garbage like Knight to join them.

  4. Here is where I stand on Kevin knight. He’s got a huge upside but he’s extremely inexperienced. He’s wrestled less matches than both Fujita and Oiwa and they’ve only just gone on excursion.

So more than anything his character alignment should be whatever is going to get him the most matches. If that’s through the war dogs then so be it. If that’s through hontai then keep him face.

That said at his level of matches working heel is a good way to develop and round out a character but he’s obviously a natural face

  5. I think he works best as a babyface. He knows how to work that from behind fightback really well.

He has had a great 3-6 months in terms of taking a big step up. On IMPACT, he is now consistently putting on excellent matches. The Speedball and Moose matches were excellent and showed he understood how to lay out matches. IMPACT fans were lukewarm on him as they never gave him promo time. It feels like he has now won all of them over with his matches. His All star Jr festival USA performance was so good. He just needs time. I fully expect in a few years that he is going to be a star in the NJPW jr heavyweight division.
