The company I’m managing is growing and we got a new place in Nishi-Ikebukuro to allocate the new staff and we are looking to remove the former “just for registration purposes” address from Gotanda to this address to unify everything.
However, our lawyer really advised against it since the site we are is not very well looking and “could affect sales”. We can leave the former address (incurring in some extra costs) but it this something companies really care nowadays?

Probably depends heavily on the type of business and whether your customers would even need or search for your registered address vs physical location.
Is image important to your business? If so then do things to manage that image.
Listen to your lawyer, not to Reddit.
