I hope someone here had a similar situation.
– Recently got PR through HSP.
– Got married while the PR screening was in process.
– During the screening process to avoid extra documentation did not submit for CoE to bring wife as dependant.
– She visited as a Tourist.
Now thinking of applying for the Certificate of Eligibility for her.
– Found that there is a residency status called: `Spouses of Permanent Residents`.
– Is the COE FORM and the process of application different from `Spouse of Residents`?
If anyone had a similar experience please share your experience, e.g. how much time it takes, and what supporting documents need to be submitted.

Yea as you’re aware there is a ‘spouse of permanent resident’ visa is basically the same as a ‘spouse of Japanese national visa’: https://www.moj.go.jp/isa/applications/status/spouseorchildofpermanentresident.html
