3 month internship in Tokyo

In about a week i will be flying to Tokyo for a 3 month long internship. I am planning to bring two pieces of checked luggage (one large, one small) and a carry-on (just a backpack). I will be staying at a sharehouse in Shibuya, but first i have to sign a lease in Shinjuku, before going to the sharehouse itself.

My question is, what would be the best option to get to Shinjuku and then to Shibuya, Sendagaya specifically, from Haneda airport with my luggage? Would i be fine just using the trains, i don’t want to be a nuisance with my luggage, or should i just get the more expensive taxi?
I know about luggage forwarding, but as there is no reception or anything like that at the sharehouse, i am not sure how they would contact me that my luggage has arrived. I guess i would have to get a japanese phone number?
Any help would be really appreciated.

  2. You take the monorail to Hamamatsucho, then you take the train to Shinjuku. Then you take the train to Yoyogi (probably) and walk.

You can put your luggage in a locker at Shinjuku Station while you go sign.

In the train and monorail, you can use overhead luggage racks, but nobody really does that. Squeeze in.

  3. With two luggage, you might as well consider taking Airport Limousine Bus from Haneda to Shinjuku:

    [https://www.airport-bus-alliance.com/limousinebus/result-t.html?airport=羽田空港&area=新宿エリア&lang=en&frto=1](https://www.airport-bus-alliance.com/limousinebus/result-t.html?airport=羽田空港&area=新宿エリア&lang=en&frto=1)

It is a bit more expensive than train (1300 Yen), but at least it is much more convenient, e.g., you won’t have to transfer in Hamamatsucho. More importantly, you don’t need to worry with your luggage being in a way inside the train.

But then, from Shinjuku to Sendagaya, your best bet might be train.
