Car advice.
Job told me to get a car and didn’t really help with anything else. I’m a beginner driver and know nothing about buying a car except for what I read online (under 10man mileage, don’t buy anything older than 10 years because shaken will be significantly higher, 4WD if living in a snowy/hilly area). I have a budget of under 30man, could do better but I need a car now. I’m doing 2 years and will not need a car after that.
Looking online, the only cars within my budget are 2006-2014 kei cars, some without shaken. Would a 10+ year old car hold up for two years without expensive maintenance/repair costs? Or would it be more economical to lease instead?

Considering buying a house (or a plot and mandate a construction) in *real* inaka, which is rural area (in this sub many people consider that no entertainement around = inaka, but inaka primary criteria is density of population that is a direct consequence of the presence of farm lands), in Wakayama, Nara or Mie.
Our current plan is to move in mid-late 2024.

Noticed a lump recently that I want to get checked out, any recommendations in Tokyo for an English-speaking doctor/specialist?
Bonus if they accept Japan national health insurance, but I’ll consider the options.
What’s the minimum annual income I have to make/tax I have to pay to get to stay in Japan on my Engineering Visa? A stranger said in passing that foreigners get in trouble because of this. I’ve been searching all over but can’t find this.
I’ve received this notification for 15k V point present campaign with something related to SBI証券 but I don’t really understand what is it all about.
If someone has spare time, would appreciate small explanation

How are McDonald’s patties grilled in Japan?
Do they use any seed oils for cooking them?
I commute to Tokyo from Miura at the usual rush hour times, do you think that the typhoon will cause train delays? I’m going to try to see if I can get WFH maybe half the day if it’s supposed to be bad cause I don’t wanna get stuck in Tokyo, the Keikyu line has been sucking lately with weather and the last time it was windy and rainy the trains have to slow their speed so it took a year to get to work that day.

Heading back home for 3 months and am looking for travel insurance. Any recommendations for long stay insurance?
Did you even get insurance when travelling back to your home country (short or long stay)?
Where’s a good place to find stupidly high flat platform (not wedge/heel) SNEAKERS (not boots or sandals) in a size ~26? I don’t necessarily need to be able to try them on, so online shopping and/or search terms are fine.
Even when I can find something close to what I’m looking for [(I basically want something like this, but red)](https://cdna.lystit.com/photos/nordstromrack/d7e47327/superga-BLUSH-VELVET-Velvet-Ultra-high-Platform-Sneaker.jpeg), they only go up to 24, which is way too small for me :((
Anyone know how to search along a train line?
For example, say I want to find all food courts along touzai line.
I use google maps and it has no such feature.
