  1. Sounds like a step forward. In practical terms there can’t be that many roles that don’t have access to some personal data of residents. Road works, infrastructure projects? Arranging festivals? The monthly newsletter?

  2. If you want Japanese to do it, pay 5 or 6 million yen a year and you will have plenty of Japanese inquiries

  3. Foreign regular staff will not be promoted to managerial posts, and will not be involved in the exercise of public authority, such as imposing and collecting taxes….very serious racism

  4. Is this only for people with permanent residency or will my weeb visa get me a cushy job? I already have a high visibility vest and light saber.
