The book had an orange cover and had a picture on each page. Below the picture were twenty questions, the first ten were simple questions about the picture and the second ten questions were more complex and required insight from the student. I can’t remember what the book was called but I met the author of the book while working for Interac inc Ltd in Otsu city doing the yearly briefing/drug test. He saw I had the book in my bag and said ‘hey, that’s my book!’ This would have been in 2015 or there abouts.
I’m looking for the book because I thought it was incredibly useful for one on one lessons.

Maybe try r/teachinginjapan but frankly, that sounds like a dozen or two different discussion books–or something that you could make up on the fly.
Also, the cover design may be updated or could change a lot on separate editions.
