I am about 1 month old in Kyoto. I came here to work but I cannot speak the language. I am looking for physical Japanese classes to attend in the evening. Any recommendations?

I’d like to second city hall. When I first moved to Osaka, city hall gave me a book full of info for foreigners after I registered my address. One thing it said was “free classes for foreigners at X building at Y,Z times. It was helpful for nailing bare necessities in the language.
