My partner is determined to buy a Vitamix here. The model that’s approx 700usd in the US is priced at around 180000 yen. Assume this is down to market conditions.
Subsequently, I’d like to look at domestic market products that are more affordable!
Any recommendations for high end blenders in Japan? Would like her to be happy and also have something still in my wallet 🙂
We tried bic camera in Yokohama today but they don’t stock it in store and the alternatives there were limited.
I’ve searched Reddit already with this question and all the responses were Vitamix or Vitamix. I struggle to believe there are no alternatives. Am I mistaken?!

Ninja or Nutri Bullet are best.
Blendtec is another brand that is on par with vitamin.
Otherwise, I think I have seen vitamix at Costco before at not too unreasonable prices.

A friend who owns a restaurant uses this in his kitchen. Just be forewarned that it’s loud but if you’re experieced with Vitamix it won’t come as a surprise.
I bought one of these and when the rubber seal for the flask was accidentally torn, my partner threw away the entire blender because it “took up too much space” and “why not just use the immersion blender?” I’d already ordered a ï¿¥1000 replacement seal …
They did not believe me when I told them what it cost. Had guessed like ï¿¥8000 not ï¿¥80000 haha.

I saw Vitamix at Costco in Yokohama this week. We have one and truly love it.
If you want a vitamix then the best place to get it in Japan is Costco. Really is fantastic though
Costco sells the E320 for just under 60,000 yen.
If you want cheaper you can also get used Vitamix blenders on Mercari or Yahoo auctions for around 20,000~30,000.
