Galaxy Store unlocked phones – advice

Hello,

I am doing an exchange year in Japan (6 months) and I kinda need a new phone. I saw a lot that most phones here are locked. My questions:

Can you buy an unlocked phone in the Galaxy Store in Harajuku?

If not, where else?

Or, what are your other recommendations of getting a phone in Japan?

PS: I do kinda want a phone which has Osaifu Keitai, since it’s easier in Japan.
