Vision fund is the personification of just gambling as a VC because there was a seemingly endless supply of money. Just bruteforcing through capital. This culture reflected within the companies falling underneath Vision fund as well such as Uber which wanted to change laws through sheer size and trying to make the public reliant on their services which didnt really come to fruition. Trying to disrupt but without cash injections many Vision related startups/scale ups simply cannot sustain themselves.
Now it is just too big too fall but it will never truly be profitable. On the other hand Softbank owns ARM and they are doing crap with that gem of a company on which the whole mobile market is dependent.
