Tickets to Southern Allstars

Dear all,

I’ve been living in Japan for quite a while, yet have not been able to figure out how to get tickets for a South Allstars concert. I tried checking the ticketing system at Lawson, but wasn’t able to find any information on their ticket machine. Can somebody with a little bit of experience point me in the right direction?

  1. Are they even touring right now? You need to keep an eye on their official website first to get news about when their next tour will be. They’ll have information on how to get tickets too when something is announced.

  2. Looks like they will be performing at the 茅ヶ崎公園野球場 on Sept 27, 28, 30 and Oct 1. Tickets for a show like this will sell out quickly, so they do lotteries. First chance to win tickets always goes to fan club members. You can sign up to be a member on their website for just over 6000 yen a year. Then you have the opportunity to maybe win tickets.

After they have gotten their tickets, general tickets will open up to a lottery as well. Just need to be lucky. Bots usually grab most of the tickets and then you have to buy them for 3x the price or more from 2nd hand sites.

The majority of people will not be able to go, so they will be broadcasting the show in movie theaters across the country. That’s probably your best bet to see the show. Check out the list of movie theaters here: https://liveviewing.jp/sas-chigasakilive/

I may be wrong and it’s actually only in theaters and there is no live performance. I’m not 100% sure. Maybe the lottery applies to the movie tickets. Again, I don’t know. I’ve never been to a big concert in Japan, just smaller stuff.

Here’s the website for more information:
