Has anyone been contacted by recruiters on what’s up, leading you to a platform where you are supposed to optimize Apps and receive a ridiculous amount of money?

I get 2-3 unsolicited spam messages on WhatsApp from recruiters every week and they all go into the trash can immediately. Just looking at the country codes in the numbers, they’re all coming from countries like Vietnam, China, Brunei, and Venezuela.
I’m also getting spammed by these like crazy, both WhatsApp and SMS.
I ignore them all but curious to know what the scam mode of operation is.
Yep, it’s also called a !job scam or !task scam.

Also, please don’t log into any of these “app optimization workbenches”. They’re all malicious websites, and you could potentially have your personal information stolen.

I had spam on Telegram and WhatsApp.
I got rid of my Telegram because almost nobody on my list is using it, and the stupid spam.
Now I just have to deal with WhatsApp spam.
Usually start by a offering Remote job and high salary lol.
One day, I said “Wait, it’s my turn now” and then I went and wrote a job offer for the spammer lol. Few minutes later, he/she sent me a bunch of curse words LOL. I’m sure I pissed him/her off lol.
I literally got one 5 minutes ago.
same here.. but i got a letter from Docomo few weeks ago where they say that my personal information with a lot of other customers one were leaked.. so could be that..
**WhatsApp** can silence calls from unknown numbers.
On Android and iOS:
* Tap **Settings** > **Privacy**.
* Tap **Calls**.
* Turn on “**Silence Unknown Callers**”
**Silenced calls** from unknown callers will show up in the **Calls** **tab** and in **Notifications**, but the phone won’t ring.
