What was it like when you showed your Yunyu Kakuninsho at the airport?

I received my Yunyu Kakuninsho, and I’m going to get prescriptions for all my other OTC less-than-one-month-supply medicines. I feel pretty prepared but I’m still a bit antsy.

For those who got a Yunyu Kakuninsho, what was it like at the airport? Did you go straight to the “goods to declare” part of Customs? Or did you only show your Yunyu Kakuninsho and meds if they asked for it? I’m planning to have all my medications in one big ziplock bag so I can present them easily. But will Customs look through the rest of my luggage? I have nothing to hide, I just have anxiety disorder so it helps to know what to expect. Thank you!

  2. I took 15 vials of medication with 28 needles and syringes. Flew into Fukuoka. I had a Yunyu kakuninsho with me of course. I never once got stopped or was asked for anything. I even asked someone if I needed to show it since I had my medication. They said no and didn’t ask me any questions. ESID but that was my experience. I’d say just wait until they ask questions, if they even do.
