Bachelor’s and master’s

Hello everyone! I have kind of a silly question, as I am a bit confused by it but maybe it’s already obvious what the answer is. I saw a lot of jobs requiring a bachelor’s of 4 years specifically. In my country, most bachelor’s are of 3 years (mine included). I am starting my master’s at the end of september as well, so would that make up for the remaining year? Would my master’s even be considered an advantage in this case? Thank you!

  2. The rule is “Bachelors (or equivalent)”. We say 4 years because that is the most common length of bachelor’s program, and to differentiate it from two year degrees like an associate’s in the US.

If bachelor’s degrees in your country are 3 years long that’s fine. You don’t need to do a master’s just to make up the extra year.
