I was in Tokyo when Japan upset Germany at the World Cup last year. Definitely a lot of packed areas but was quite a bit more civil than equivalent celebrations I’ve seen in North America.
Hmm, this likely won’t affect people arriving after the 20th, right? That’s when I arrive in Osaka lol
Things might be more muted this time around since winning the Central League doesn’t automatically put you into the Japan Series anymore.
