2. The government ignoring the wishes of the majority and sticking with the beliefs of the same old bigoted farts in power that are destroying this country? Couldn’t be!

3. What’s crazy is that the Sapporo district court ruled that denial of same sex marriage is unconstitutional just 2 years ago. It’s the same court, but different judge.

4. Japanese people on average don’t seem to care about politics at all even when they’re aware about societal injustices so I wouldn’t expect much action from concessionary (liberal) parties on par with the US and some western European nations.
