[HSP Visa] Points for ‘Holder of a Japanese/Foreign work-related qualification’

So basically, the visa point system awards points for the following:

* Holder of a Japanese work-related qualification \[10 points\]
* Holder of a Foreign work-related qualification \[5 points\]

Where can I get a list of the qualifications which are accepted?

Is it possible to get the Japanese work-related qualification from my home country (remotely)?

    I’m pretty sure the lists have been posted here a few times, so you should be able to find them if you do a bit of searching.

    In general though the “qualifications” are things like professional licenses. So if you’re an accountant with a CPA or CMA you’d get bonus points for that.

    Probably not. Again, we’re talking about licenses and things like that, so there’s not really going to be a structure in place for non-citizen non-resident foreigners to take the exams.

    Plus, uh… Being a bit blunt: If you’re [not even N5 yet](https://www.reddit.com/r/LearnJapanese/comments/164yxdq/comment/jyd3fy8/?utm_source=reddit&utm_medium=web2x&context=3) you don’t have anywhere near the level of Japanese fluency required to take a licensing exam.
