  1. tfw : we beat the competition every week for every week, and every week we beat our competitors daily. here’s one thing we’ve learned : we make money short on money!!!

  2. Hey fellow Redditors,

gonna post it in this thread maybe a few people will see it.

I’m a Student at a University in Japan and I’m searching for language learners who want to participate in a short survey.

The purpose is to find out about language learning goals and the current app ecosystem surrounding it. If you don’t use any apps, the survey will be shorter for you, but your input is still invaluable.

    Time Required: Approximately 5 minutes.

Language Proficiency: All levels and languages welcome.

Anonymity: Your responses will be completely anonymous.

I’m also open to any feedback in the replies

  3. **Learning Japanese and love Minecraft? This might be for you!** 🌸

Hey fellow language enthusiasts and Minecraft players!

I recently whipped up a little something I thought might help some of us bridge our love for gaming and our passion for learning. Introducing **Rubi**! It’s a mod for Minecraft that adds the capability to display ruby annotations (like furigana for Japanese kanji) within the game.

    A couple things to note:

    * **Compatibility**: This mod isn’t just for Japanese. If there’s a language out there using logograms, theoretically, Rubi can help. Though, for non-logographic languages, it might be a tad overkill and could get in the way of actually learning how to read.
    * **Resource Pack Needed**: For the magic to happen, you’d need a compatible language resource pack. Without it, the mod won’t do much. But the good news is, you can freely craft one yourself, in which case you’re welcome to message me so I can feature it. As a starter, I made one called **Furigana** which covers, you guessed it, Japanese!
    * **Mod Optional**: The cool thing? Even without the mod, the syntax of these resource packs should mesh well with vanilla Minecraft. But using Rubi definitely elevates the experience.

If you’re interested, here you go:

I genuinely hope this makes your language-learning journey a tad more fun and interactive. Any feedback, ideas, or just general chit-chat about it is welcome!

    Happy learning and mining! 📖⛏️
