Simple Recipes for single people

Since recently i’ve been living on my own and im looking for some good instagram accounts where i could find 1. Simple recipes 2. Cheap recipes 3. Any food/genre is fine doesnt have to be Japanese food. I prefer IG but will appreciate any website. Yes I know Cookpad but not a fan.

  1. Buy Simple book by Ottolenghi on Amazon.
Most instagram recipes are in “everybody’s so creative” genre and are not worth wasting the ingredients.

  2. A while back I searched a bit for quick and easy recipes to expand my repertoire a bit. The main thing I found was that people who post recipes online have far, far different definitions of “quick” and “easy” than I do. In my opinion, an hour+ of prep and cooking time as well as six different pots/pans is neither quick nor easy. And why do they have to give me their life story before giving me the recipe?

I’m not on the computer with the saved links I found right now, but a search on rice cooker jambalaya should bring up something, and I found a couple of good rice cooker chili recipes, too.

  3. I like to make recipes where 1 hour or less of cooking gives me 4 portions that I can keep in the fridge for a week: pasta sauces, roasted chicken (make 4 at a time), curry, etc.

  4. I always love that Costco’s Beef Bulgogi. You can cook it in the oven, air fryer, frying pan, or microwave depending on your preference. Quick and easy.

  5. All Japanese, but for IG @kurashiru and @galgo_urmet (this girl makes crazy things with only a rice cooker). Also @tanoshii_gohan.maimai.
For apps I like ナディア, they have many easy and quick recipes.
