Yucho cash card needed for phone SIM contract?

Just opened an account with yucho bank today. Do i have to wait for the Cash Card to physically arrive for getting a phone number with docomo/au/etc?

For a phone I’m pretty sure you need a credit card, not just a bank account. Don’t quote me though
