What’s your schedule like for learning japanese while full time work?

IDK if there are any older people, I’m 40 learning japanese, but I get rather discouraged because I don’t get enough time to study. I work from early morning until around 7 at evening and by then I come home tired. Rigt now I’m going over Anki decks and studying tobira, which is difficult for me, and go over notes previously taken. I guess I don’t come home late but man I get tired and I do have some health issues that make it difficult to study. So for those that work all day, if any, how do you juggle it all? Do you have like a schedule or something. Any tips would be greatly appreciated guys.

  1. Anki early in the morning, read, save words in my anki deck and use Japanese like I do with my English

  2. * 8:30AM-5:30PM work+commute

    * 6-6:40PM anki (30 min)+learn new words/kanji (10 min)

    * 6:40-7:00PM break

    * 7-7:40PM read (in Japanese of course)

    * 7:40-8:30PM eat dinner

    * 8:30 – 9:10PM read (in Japanese)

    **at this point 2 hours of studying are completed**

    * 9:30-10:30 go for a walk

    * past: video game + sleeeeeeeeeeeeeep

  3. I like to do all my anki in the morning after my alarm goes off, but before I get out of bed. After work, I do about an hour of grammar study. Sometimes I will do 2 hours of study if I am feeling up to it. On the weekends, I do the book and workbook exercises.

  4. It varies, I finish work at 5, hit the gym and once I’m home and settled it’s around 7. I’ll do anki for half an hour, read for 45 mins or so. So around 8:30, I’ll chill out for an hour. Do 30 mins or so of listening comprehension then chill out again before bed. I call my friend at lunch and on weekend to practice some more too
