WH: No payment slip received for pension after two months

Hello, I’m currently on a work holiday visa in Japan.

I arrived early July and as any resident I enrolled into the healthcare and national pension. I think they made me fill the form for pension exemption but I’m not sure about that.

A few weeks later I received the payment slips for healthcare, which I paid.

Recently I received a letter to create my account on Nenkin Net, I did it and received my user ID today. When logging in I can see that I have 2 unpaid months, July and August, but I haven’t received any payment slip for pension.

So in the end I don’t know if I’m exempted or if the payment slips for pension take a while to arrive.

What do you think?

As an additional information, although it shouldn’t matter as I have to contribute to the pension system anyway if I’m not exempted: I don’t have a part time job so far.
