I am having trouble deciding between applying for Kyoto Arc and KICL language schools in Kyoto for April 2023 term.
I have heard KICL is faster-paced / more intense while providing more opportunities to meet other students. (University students included) and that Arc is relatively slow/normal paced which allows for a lot of freedom to work part time.
KICL on paper sounds cooler to me but I’m worried about how intense it may actually be comparatively. I want to learn but I don’t want to be extremely overwhelmed and spend most of my free time studying.
Does anyone have relatively recent experiences from either of these they are willing to tell?
