[IT Related Question] – How’s the market with Ruby/Ruby On Rails in Japan?

Good morning/afternoon/evening y’all. This question goes to my fellow developers and for those who know more about it.

How well is Ruby & Ruby On Rails doing in the current IT market? I’m interested to use a different Programming Language for Backend Development such as Ruby with RoR (I use Python at my current job but not specifically on Web Development) and I’ve been thinking about trying to get a job in Japan near the future but I’m not sure how’s the status of Ruby around Japan lately.

  2. There’s definitely ruby on rails jobs. I saw a lot of Java and PHP and in the backend when I was looking at job posts. Also, how’s your Japanese? I would focus on getting at least N2 if you can if you will look for work in Japan as the # of english jobs are few and they are more competitive. I’ll toss a link for japanese startup jobs:
