Critique and advice for a 5 night trip to Tokyo in Nov

– Return to hotel for rest

-_Day 3 concerns:_ Long day of traveling on busses and trains. Don’t want to go somewhere too involved in the evening.

– Imperial Palace
– Meiji Jingu
– Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building
– Wander around Shinjuku : Omoide Yokocho, Kabukicho, Shin-Okubo Kankoku Yokocho, etc…

**Day 6**

– Leisurely morning in Akasaka
– Check out one or more of; Hie Shine/Akasawa Hikawa Shrine/Nogi Jinja _(depending on time)_
– **1100** : Hotel Check out and depart for Kyoto

  1. Looks good to me,

    for day 2: If you want to end in/around Asakusa I would move lunch to the shopping streets around Sensoji and go for dinner and drinks later in Hoppy Str when it’s dark. If you don’t want to do that you could also cross the river to SkyTree after Sensoji and have dinner there.

  2. I would say if you’re going to spend your time in Shibuya, you might also want to check out Harajuku too and Ometesando (luxury brands) but these places are really for shopping. Cat Street is good for checking out streetwear brands. They’re all within walking distances from each other. Miyashita Park is a relatively new mall that is just right in front of Shibuya station.

  3. For day 2, you could always visit Akihabara/Tokyo station/Ginza to fill in the time. Maybe dinner at Yurakucho.

    You might also want to add in some night time scroll for Christmas lights.
