Help/Advice needed for my 13 day Tokyo – Hakone – Kyoto – Tokyo trip.

So I booked my dream solo trip to Japan on a whim. I’ll be leaving in 3 weeks and arriving on the 8th of October, staying for 2 weeks. After days of Googling and browsing I came up with the following itinerary(at least for the Tokyo part of my trip):

8 October, 2023 @ 12:50 – Arrival in Tokyoa17th of October, 2023 – Check out from hotel, go to Hakone18th of October, 2023 – Check out from Ryokan/Onsen, go to Kyoto20th of October, 2023 – Check out from hotel, go back to Tokyo21st of October, 2023 @ 13:30 – Check out from hotel in Tokyo, fly back :'(

I’ve labeled the days with letter as I can planning on deciding what to do when I’m there.

* Does this seem doable, any advice would be welcome.
* Have I missed locations near the vicinity of the stuff I’ve grouped?
* I tried my best to group the locations near to each other I want to visit but I have no idea if I did a good job. What do you think?

  1. Your B day might be more walking than you think! To be honest, my experience of Yoyogi Park was a little lackluster and it was really just a city park/public space (with a ton of crows lol). I much preferred Meiji Shrine and Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden. I’d say do Meiji and Takeshita/Harajuku first and see if you still want to do Yoyogi, or just pop your head in and do a quick stroll.

  2. It looks like a fun trip. On Day G, just know you will be on trains or subways for about an hour. A lot of your places are in near Ikebukuro station but you will be traveling to Nakano Broadway and going to Kichijoji for Harmonica Yokocho (for Kichijoji, you will be going through the Shinjuku station, which I saw on Day C. Have fun.
