Hello!
We are doing the Kiso Trail one day and staying near Nagiso that night. I would like to hike up to the Senjojiki Cirque area from the Kiso Valley side then take the tram down to get back to Matsumoto.

Taking the train to Kiso-Fukushima Station, then a bus to Shinmei (Google Maps tells me a bus runs to here). Then hiking the 7.66 miles/6,785 ft up to Senjojiki Cirque area for a hearty one-way.
Does anyone have experience hiking up from the other side of the mountains up then taking the tram down? Thanks in advance!
