* Hike / walk 2-3 hours
* Bring hiking gear
* 5km (3 miles) round trip, 3 hours, easy to moderate. The route begins behind the shrine’s main buildings and winds up the wooded slopes of sacred Mt. Inari.

iirc Nanzenji opens around 9am, in any case it seems very ambitious to see a temple and a gardens in an hour before breakfast?
Murin-an is only worth it on the free day (28th of each month for people under 35)
