Tokyo Public Transport & Wheelchair

Travelling to Tokyo in a little over about 3 weeks! No problem to pay but just wondering if public transport is free for a wheelchair user? Usually it is in many European countries but with Japan being an Asian country, just wondering if it might be the case in Tokyo? Also what methods are the most wheelchair accessible?

Discounted tickets only, and requires certification, so depending on your financial situation / itinerary for local trips it may be more time-efficient to just buy the tickets vs finding a staff member to present yourself, potential discussions about whether non-Japanese certificates are accepted, etc.:
