Been searching on various sites for a relatively large apartment to rent, but can’t seem to find any. I have a friend who said that they’re currently renting an apartment that has one bedroom, one guest room, one large kitchen, one small room, two separate bathrooms and a garage.
Do I need to look at specific regions in fukuoka to find something similar? Because I’m getting no result.

Check on Suumo. You are looking for a 3LDK with 2 baths and a garage.
I’m guessing that the reason you are having trouble is because you are looking too close to the city center and for too low of a price. What you are describing is huge for an apartment and even bigger than some houses. It’s going to either cost a lot for that or be further away from Tenjin/Hakata.
EDIT: I just did a search on Suumo and there are tons of reasonable options (if you don’t mind older buildings). The two toilets and a garage is going to limit you though. I couldn’t find any with two toilets.
Two seperate actual baths or two toilets and one bath? Two baths is really unheard of in Japan. Two toilets while uncommon, is getting much more common but may be a bit difficult in an apartment.
Also that sounds quite large for an apartment. Maybe look into renting a house as you’ll easily find a house with that and more. You can often find 3ldk houses for not much more than the rent of an average sized apartment.
