Is it just me or has there been a lot of very… stupid questions lately?
Like “how do I get my groceries home?” And “I saw a creepy old lady at night, and then heard an ambulance what should I do?”
I mean, I know we get a lot of “what should I do” questions, but recently it seems that there are a lot of these where the answer is either obvious or just someone wanting others to make a lifelong decision for them.
Anyone had any issues sending ems packages to Italy recently? Couple months back I sent something and the package didn’t update at all after leaving Kansai airport, then was returned to me for “insufficient address” checked with the receiver again. Address was fine so we tried it again and included phone number in case… now following similar pattern of no update after leaving japan.
Let’s say one switches jobs while their visa is still valid, do they just go to immigration saying “wassup this is my new job kkthxbai”?
Or is more paperwork necessary
Is there like a website or something to find puppies for sale?
any recommendations on services I can hire in Tokyo to clean my kitchen (specifically the range hood?) just a one-off will do.
Anyone know where I could go in Kyoto to check out some standing desks in person? I’ve had bad luck with furniture lately and want to check the sturdiness, etc.
would it be stupid to apply online to a job ad for the same company i work for? i already asked my GM about opportunities to better use the skills i have and get more OJT. he said he’d get back to me, then radio silence. this ad is exactly the kind of thing i meant, and i know the GM is being a dick (not just my opinion, he has a reputation).
Anyone know how much faster you can drive over the speed limit without getting a ticket? I asked a biker that looked like he was going 60-70 in a school zone (limit is 40) to slow down and the first thing he said was “I was going 50” then got very aggressive. Like, he physically hit me a few times. Perhaps he was just having a bad day.
Favorite Japanese-language podcasts?
Also favorite English-language podcasts about Japan?
Hi. I’m overweight. What is the gym culture like here? I have a horrible fear of gyms from the USA due to being publicly ridiculed while using equipment. I know Japan isn’t great with overweight individuals. What do you think?
This question is mostly me feeding into my anxiety, though. I understand that.
