  1. Since you’re a video game lover, and going next year, that Nintendo museum in Kyoto ought to be open. Might also want to check out [the 8-4 bar run by former Nintendo staff](https://www.nintendolife.com/features/a-visit-to-84-hashi-tokyos-secret-nintendo-staff-bar-now-open-to-you). I’m planning to visit it this November, so can’t vouch personally about it yet

As for rail passes, definitely not worth it since you’re just doing Tokyo to Osaka / Kyoto and rail pass prices are increasing so much in October. If you haven’t bought plane tickets yet, why not fly into Tokyo, then fly out of Kansai International in Osaka?

  2. Well… you should stop using chatGPT to make this that’s for sure.

Wither you get the JR pass or not is up to you. There is a [Japan Rail Pass Calculator](https://www.japan-guide.com/railpass/) where you can input your intended trips and see if it’s worth it or not. It includes the prices pre and post increase as well as the different types of pas (7, 14 & 21).

Yes, you need to buy a Hokane pass if you plan to go.

  3. Hello, I’m Japanese. I have a couple of questions.

    1. When are you going to Kyoto from Hakone? If it’s on your day 7, you won’t have enough time to visit all the places listed for the day.

    2. What would you do with geishas when you find them? Just looking at them from a distance? Don’t take their photos without their permission, though. That will be extremely rude. In addition, the way you have described, “look for geishas” sounds quite inconsiderate to me. They are not a tourist attraction but actual humans who are doing their job. If you want to interact with them, book such a service. Otherwise, the best option here is to leave them alone.

  4. Don’t think you are getting to Tokyo, then catching flight to Kansai an hour later. You’ll be barely out of immigration/customs in 50 min. You have to change terminals for a domestic flight.

    Chat GPT, doh!

  5. >Morning: Explore the Gion district and look for geishas.

So can I come to your workplace and just watch you work…
